Anemone Reef - Phuket

General Information

Anemone Reef is just a few hundred meters from Shark Point. There's a large pinnacle from 4 - 25m depth, covered in soft corals and anemones. It's a pretty easy multi level dive with plenty to see. Many local divers favourite site.

Current

Can be anything from calm to moderate depending on the tides. Open water site, so care is needed not to drift off into the blue.

Marine Life

Pinnacles like Anemone Reef are hunting grounds for pelagics such as jacks. The pinnacle is often covered in small fish, and jacks dart in to grab a mouthful. You can see anything from nudibranchs to leopard sharks here. Look carefully in the soft corals for critters.
