General Information
Bida Nai, or "inner" Island is a rocky outcrop just south of Phi Phi Ley Island. From the distance the Island resembles the shape of an army boot. Underwater boulders and rocks form some interesting swim-throughs that are often filled with large schools of glassfish. Very nice diving spot in the Phi Phi Islands.
Current
Mild to moderate current, running from northwest to southeast and vice versa.
Marine Life
Upon closer inspection of the walls and caves you may be lucky enough to spot a Ghost Pipefish or Boxer Shrimp. To the east of the Island there is a deeper reef called Fantasy Reef at 22 - 27 meters where you can find large schools of Batfish, Barracuda and Travellies. In the shallower parts is a Staghorn garden where you may come across Leopard or Black tip Sharks.
