General Information
Bida Nok, or "outer" Island is a rocky outcrop just a hundred meters north of Bida Nai and south of Phi Phi Ley. Here you find a small bay in the southeast of the Island and a sheer wall going down to about 28 - 30 meters to the northwest. On the northeastern and southwestern side of Bida Nok you'll find gently sloping reef that meets the sandy bottom at around 20 - 24 meters. Some of the best diving in Phi Phi.
Current
Mild to moderate current, running from northwest to southeast and vice versa.
Marine Life
The Island underwater is covered in soft and hard corals. In the shallows at the bay often divers see turtles and Leopard sharks. Scorpionfish and Ghost pipefish are hiding camouflaged in the cracks of the reef. Large schools of Fusiliers and Snappers are always around and also Manta Rays and Whale Sharks have been spotted whilst diving here.
