Diving at Karon Beach - Phuket

General Information

We use Karon Beach for dive courses, ideal for a first dive, you can walk in off the beach into shallow water, start the dive in just a couple of meters depth and slowly swim out from the shore. Maximum depth 10 meters, visibility can be 10m or less.

No current unless tide going out, not strong anyway.

Marine Life

Surprising amount of marine life. We have seen everything from seahorses to stingrays. Always some lionfish and scorpionfish hiding in the rocks. Some coral growth against the walls under the Marina resort.
