Koh Doc Mai - Phuket Dive Site

General Information

Koh Doc Mai (Flower Island) is a small limestone island about 10 miles east of Phuket, about halfway between Phuket and Shark Point. Normally dived as the 3rd dive of the day after doing the King Cruiser Wreck, Shark Point or Anemone Reef. Lots of people love Koh Doc Mai for it's wall, which hides many critters. You need to dive with your nose in the soft corals here, although there are larger things around sometimes such as leopard sharks. Great spot for finding seahorses or ghost pipefish.
