General Information
Loh Samah Bay is part of Phi Phi Ley Island and is connected above water with Maya Bay through a hole in the rocks. Underwater it consists of large sandy areas scattered with coral fields and rocks, gently sloping from the surface to a maximum depth of 30 meters at the outskirts of the bay.
Current
Currents are weak to mild due to the restricted water movement inside the bay.
Marine Life
In the sand you can often find Blue Spotted Stingrays and Garden eels. In the Coral fields divers can spot Scorpionfish, Lionfish and Moray eels. Always have a look around for the occasional Leopard Shark.
