Diving Similan Islands Snapper Alley in Thailand

General Information

Snapper Alley consists of a cluster of outcrops sticking out of Islnad No. 9 - Similan National Park. Underwater, you will see a number of big rocks sourrounding the emerged Similan pinnacles, puncuated by narrow sand alleys with a maximum depth of 30 meters.

Current

Usually mild to moderate but sometimes it can be strong. Generally the current runs in an east to west direction.

Marine Life

Ghost Pipefish, Frogfish and Scorpionfish take shelter among the corals here. Sometimes a young Rockmover Wrasse is found. Swarms of fish like Ongnosed Emperor, Bigeye Emperor and Big Snappers are common here.
