General Information
Koh Tachai has a magnificant white beach and two very interesting divespots, southern pinnacles and eastern reef. Tachai Pinnacle or Twin peaks are located about 500 meters of Koh Tachai and marked with buoys. The southern pinnacle is bigger with a depth on the top of about 12 meters. It is a dome shape sourrounded by large boulders. Sand bottom is at about 35-40 meters. You can reach the northern pinnacle via a 50 meter swim at about 24 meters. The top of this pinnacle is at about 18 meters and it is sourrounded by a cluster of rocks and hard coral.

Marine Life
Apart from Koh Bon this is also an area where Manta rays as well as Whale sharks have been seen frequently. On the outer sand bed you can find leopard sharks and stingrays. Large schools of batfish, chevron barracuda, trevallies and snappers are common. Exotic species such as oceanic triggerfish are on this reef as well.
