General Information
Similan Islands dive site Turtle Rock. A rock above water that is shaped like a turtle is this sites landmark. Underwater it consists of huge boulder formations that are sourrounded by hard and soft coral fields. Most of the staghorn coral is at a depth of around 15-20 meters. The sandy bottom lies at about 25 meters.

Current
Generally Mild. Towards high tide the current moves from south to north and towards low tide it moves from the north to the south of the Similan.
Marine Life
Kuhl's Stingray and Blue Spotted Stingray are common here at the sandy bottom. Sticking out from the bottom are also Garden Eels in astonishing numbers. Within the crevices of the rocks you are likely to find Sweetlips, Snappers, Angelfish and Moray Eels.
