Komodo Special Offers!
The phrase "Book Now" does tend to be overused, but ... if you book before 30th April, you can save 500 US$ per person on any trip with the Komodo Dancer in 2010. Check the links below for the Komodo Dancer schedule and enquiry form.
And there's more - both Mermaid 1 and Mermaid 2 have 10% discounts on all trips in June and July - saving up to 245 Euro per person. These are very popular boats, having been operating in Thailand and Indonesia since 2001. Check the schedules below:
Moana Cruises
The liveaboard trips in Komodo do tend to be at least 7 days, which is too long for some people, and maybe out of budget too! So, if you want a shorter trip, have a look at the Moana, a lovely sailing boat converted into a liveaboard. There are just 5 cabins, plenty of space on the boat - Moana will run with maximum 10 divers. Trips are mostly 5 or 6 night cruises around Komodo.
Moana is based at Labuan Bajo, reached by domestic flight from Bali - we can arrange the flights for you if you wish. Prices start at just 850 Euro for 5 nights and 995 Euro for 6 nights.
April Liveaboards in the Similan Islands
As the Komodo season gets up and running, here in Thailand the season is nearly over. Liveaboards run from November until early May, so we have about 1 month remaining. April can be a great time to dive the Similan islands, Richelieu Rock and Hin Daeng. The weather is very hot, seas calm and April is the best month for big fish - there are Manta rays being seen almost every day at Koh Bon, just north of the Similan Islands, and whalesharks start to make appearances about now. This season has also been great for macro life in this area.
You'll often find last minute prices for Thailand liveaboards in April and there are already a few boats with special offers for this month - Mermaid 2 has discounts of up to 20%, and the lower budget Le Mahé is priced at just 20,000 Baht per person for 4 days! We keep updated specials and last minute prices on our website. If you have no plans for April yet.... check online and see what liveaboards are available. Our dive centre in Phuket is open every day. Hope to see you here!
