Get Ready for the Similan Islands!
The Similan Islands diving season starts November 1st, just a few months away - may seem like a long time, but over the last 10 years the Similan Islands has increased hugely in popularity and if you are thinking of diving in Thailand, and want to get the best boats then advance booking is essential. Leave it late and you will probably find something, but maybe not your first choice. Sunrise Divers can help you find the right boat to suit your needs!
A few words on the political situation in Thailand, as people are asking us about this all the time. There were major disturbances with loss of life in Bangkok during March and April. The "Red Shirt" protests were ended in mid May and the people of Bangkok took to the streets for a clean up under the banner "Together We Can". At no time during the protests was there any trouble in Phuket or anywhere else in the southern beach areas of Thailand. There is no curfew or state of emergency here and everything is 100% normal. We hope to see you here sometime soon!

Thailand Liveaboard Early Booking Offers!
There are a number of liveaboards offering advance booking offers for Thailand and Burma trips. If you're thinking of a liveaboard during the November - April season, you can save hundreds of dollars by booking early on the following boats:
- MV Jazz - 10% discount if booking before August 31st
- Pawara - 10% discount if booking before August 31st
- Black Manta - 10% off when booking before September 1st
Early bird offers need full payment on booking. We hate to use such clichés as "Book Now!", but it's always a good idea to book in advance for Similan Islands liveaboards, if you want to be sure of getting the boat and the dates that you want. For more information on Thailand and Burma liveaboard options, have a look here:
10% Discount for Returning Guests
Sunrise Divers has now been operating in Phuket since 1999, more than 10 years. We love to see people coming back again, and sometimes I know people are surprised that we remember them after many years. We do try to keep things personal. Names, not booking numbers on a computer! We have always offered a 5% discount for returning liveaboard customers, but starting now, we are doubling our returning guest discount! If you have booked a liveaboard with us before, we will now give you a 10% discount on any Thailand or Burma trip.
PLUS for a limited time, if you book a liveaboard between now and the end of September we'll give you (returning guests or first time guests) a 10% discount on any extra local dive trips that you make. Our liveaboard customers often like to make an easy day trip before the cruise or sometimes mix in the liveaboard with a package of a few days diving around the local dive sites (yes, some divers just can't stay out of the water)! We'll be happy to send you details of day trip options, or you can check here for some ideas on local diving around Phuket and Phi Phi Islands:
