Quality Komodo and Raja Ampat Cruises
The more traditional liveaboard style in Indonesia is the wooden sailing boat - and we offer several vessels like this such as the Komodo Dancer and Moana, but in the last few years, these new steel hulled boats have entered the market, all were built in Thailand. They have fast engines, good for covering the long distances in this area, they are stable in the water and all very comfortable. The Mermaid 2 has been running Komodo trips for 5 years already but as from now will be based in Indonesia full time. The Queen Scuba went to Komodo last season for the first time and will now also be staying permanently in these waters.
And there's more! The Black Manta has been a favourite in Thailand for the last few years and now also joins the Indonesia fleet with a variety of trips from 4 - 8 days in Komodo and Raja Ampat.

Liveaboards in the Similan Islands 2011-2012
The Similan Islands, about 90km northwest of Phuket, continue to offer the best diving in Thailand with liveaboard options to suit all budgets, and there are also overnight and day trip options. The season starts in October and continues through to the end of April. Trips are most commonly 4 - 6 days including the Similans, plus Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock. Some liveaboard trips also combine the Similan islands with diving at Hin Daeng and Hin Muang to the south of Phuket. Divers looking to find a more remote location - the Mergui Archipelago in Burma is the place to be. Burma liveaboards are available during the same season with trips ranging from 6 - 8 days in length.
