Local Shop - Kathu Village, Phuket
Kathu village, in the center of Phuket between Patong beach and Phuket City, is a small taste of "real" Thailand. It's an old village, with mostly Thai-Chinese residents. The Chinese influenced vegetarian festival started in Kathu. There are many small local shops, which often feel like something from "League of Gentlemen" - are you local?
