Welcome to MV Black Manta, a new top class liveaboard for diving at the Similan Islands. Black Manta has a steel hull which is 32m long and 7m wide. She was designed for the utmost stability and comfort at sea. All guests are accommodated in spacious, comfortable private air-conditioned cabins with en-suite bathrooms. Cabins have been refurbished by a professional interior designer in April 2007. The maximum number of guests is 20. With daily housekeeping, all cabins are kept clean and tidy throughout your stay. There is a large salon with wide screen plasma TV and state of the art audio visual equipment.

The 9 highly experienced crew take great pride in exceptional service whilst always maintaining safety. With 9 comfortable en-suite cabins (plus one standard twin), an extensive dive deck, huge lounge plus full safety equipment, this vessel is truly state of the art and we predict this boat will get very popular with our guests for its mid range priced trips with that little extra. An ice maker has just been installed to ensure you drinks are always cold, and warm towels will be given to you after every dive. Black Manta even has internet access and a massage service!
 
Cabins: There is one Master cabin which has an ensuite bathroom and is much larger than the other cabins. There is a double bed and also a twin bunk, so it can be booked by families or by 4 divers, or just as a double cabin. There are 8 double/twin en suite deluxe cabins plus 1 standard twin cabin with shared bathroom. The second standard cabin can be used for guests on charters or maybe used as a divemaster cabin.
 
 
Black Manta - Trip Itinerary (4 days / 4 nights)
Thailand Scuba - Similan Islands & Richelieu Rock
Departure day - Pick up around 17:00 in Phuket, transfer to Black Manta at Thap Lamu. Cruise to Similan Islands. Dinner is served on board.
1st - 3rd Diving days - 4 dives per day - exact itinerary varies*
4th Diving day - 2 dives and return to Thap Lamu. Transfer to your Phuket hotel provided, arriving at about 5 - 6pm.
Transfers from/to Khao Lak also possible.
*Dive sites are decided en route based on currents, weather, customer choice, big fish sightings etc.. A typical 4 day / 4 night trip includes the Similan Islands, Richelieu Rock, Koh Tachai and Koh Bon.
