Similan liveaboard dive cruises with Le Mahé. Newly rebuilt in 2007, Le Mahe is setting high standards in lower budget Similan liveaboard diving. Cruising from Phuket with maximum 16 guests in 8 double and twin air conditioned cabins, all with private bathrooms, you can enjoy the beauty and fantastic diving in the Similan and Surin Islands, and sleep in comfort. In fact the boat's owner says he would like to keep a maximum 14 guests on any trip. You can also book a double bed cabin as a private single cabin for a good price.

Le Mahe has built a reputation as a good mid budget liveaboard option for trips to the Similan Islands. The price is being kept the same as last season, despite the improvements to the boat. If you have a dive club or group of divers, then Le Mahe can be chartered at a very attractive price.

The cabins on Le Mahe also have a small fridge with minibar and a TV with DVD - guests can watch a movie in their cabin. The main deck cabins all have a balcony and large window. There are always at least 3 dive staff on board to help you improve your diving skills. Ask about taking your PADI Advanced Open water certification during the trip. A Similan liveaboard is a good opportunity to expand your diving knowledge and skills.

Similan liveaboard diving cruises depart from Phuket at about 6 in the evening by air-con minibus to the port of Thap Lamu, just 4 hours cruise to the Similan Islands. When you awaken in the morning, the clear blue waters of the Similan Islands will be the first thing you see. Enjoy the view, have a coffee and get ready to dive! The dive deck is rather small, so you will suit up in small groups rather than all together.

The Similan liveaboard Le Mahe promises a pretty comfortable yet relatively inexpensive diving cruise to the Similan and Surin Islands - one of the best dive destinations in Asia. Apart from diving, you can toast on the sun deck, explore some of the islands and beaches of Similan, or get back in the water for some fantastic snorkeling - the staff of Le Mahe will always be ready and willing to assist you!

Le Mahe - Trip Itinerary (4 days / 4 nights)
Similan Liveaboard - Similan Islands & Richelieu Rock

Departure day - Pick up around 18:30 in Phuket, transfer to Le Mahe at Thap Lamu. Cruise to Similan Islands. Dinner is served on board.

1st - 3rd Diving days - 4 dives per day - exact itinerary varies*

4th Diving day - 2 dives and return to Thap Lamu. Transfer to your Phuket hotel, arriving at about 6-7pm.

Transfers from/to Khao Lak also possible.

*Dive sites are decided en route based on currents, weather, customer choice, big fish sightings etc.. A typical 4 day / 4 night trip includes the Similan Islands, Richelieu Rock, Koh Tachai and Koh Bon.
