Similan Islands Liveaboards with the 33m steel hulled MV Mermaid II. Built in 2000, Mermaid II has now completed more than half a dozen very successful seasons cruising to the Similan Islands, Richelieu Rock and Hin Daeng. Mermaid II is well known as one of Thailand's top liveaboard boats. Everything about the boat is big - cabins, dive deck, relaxation areas - which makes Mermaid II a very comfortable boat for diving in Thailand.

M/V Mermaid II is a 33 metre, double engine steel motor yacht. One of the most comfortable dive boats in Thailand. She easily accommodates 16 guests in 8 deluxe cabins. All deluxe cabins are on the main deck with large panoramic sea view windows. Each cabin has a double bed and single bunk (max pax 2 per cabin), individual control air conditioning and ensuite bathrooms. There are also budget cabins below deck with twin bunks, air conditioning and shared bathrooms.

There is also a large salon, and a separate dining area, both air conditioned. Mermaid 2 also has Nitrox on board. You can take your PADI Nitrox Course or get Nitrox tank fills at 6 U$ each. The dive deck and dive platform are extremely spacious, making for easy equipment preparation and entry into the waters of the Andaman Sea.
