MV White Manta is a purpose-built liveaboard boat launched in October 2002. She is 25.5m long and 5.5m wide. Designed from the start with the customers comfort, safety and enjoyment in mind, she has air-conditioned guest cabins for a maximum of just 14 divers, an indoor saloon as well as an outdoor dining area and a spacious sun deck for relaxing between dives. In 2007, White Manta has been totally refurbished - the interior photos below are all from November 2007.

White Manta - Phuket Scuba Diving - Similan Islands
There are 7 cabins in total - 2 Master cabins with double bed, upper bunk and en suite bathroom, 3 Deluxe cabins - 2 with twin bunks and en suite bathroom, 1 with double bed and ensuite bathroom, and 2 Standard bunk cabins with shared bathroom. The Deluxe and Master cabins are on the main deck, while the Standard cabins are on the upper deck.
The highly experienced boat crew and up to 4 dive crew take great pride in exceptional service whilst always maintaining safety. With 7 cabins, an extensive dive deck, lounge equipped with T.V. & DVD, ice maker, air-conditioned throughout with a full compliment of safety equipment, this vessel is a great deal. There is also internet and phone access on board for a small charge.

White Manta - Trip Itinerary (4 days / 4 nights)
Liveaboard - Similan Islands & Richelieu Rock
Departure day - Pick up around 17:00 in Phuket, transfer to White Manta at Thap Lamu. Cruise to Similan Islands. Dinner is served on board.
1st - 3rd Diving days - 4 dives per day - exact itinerary varies*
4th Diving day - 2 dives and return to Thap Lamu. Transfer to your Phuket hotel provided, arriving at about 5 - 6pm.
Transfers from/to Khao Lak also possible.
*Dive sites are decided en route based on currents, weather, customer choice, big fish sightings etc.. A typical 4 day / 4 night trip includes the Similan Islands, Richelieu Rock, Koh Tachai and Koh Bon.
