TDI Technical Diving Courses
Nitrox Diver
This is the entry level certification course for recreational divers wishing to use enriched air nitrox (EAN) as a breathing gas. The objective of this course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for Nitrox mixes from 22% to 40% oxygen content.
Minimum certification : Open Water Diver
Course Duration : 2 day including 2 dives (1 day trip)
Course Price : Please contact us for latest prices

Advanced Nitrox Diver
This course examines the use of EAN 21 through to 100% Oxygen for optimal mixes to depths of 40m/130feet. The objective of this course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for utilising oxygen rich mixes, as well as gas switches for dives not requiring staged decompression. Decompression techniques may be covered in this course at the discretion of the instructor.
Minimum certification : Nitrox Diver + 25 logged dives
Course duration : 3 days including 4 dives (2 day trips)
Course Price : Please contact us for latest prices
Decompression Procedures Diver
This course examines the theory, methods and procedures of planned stage decompression diving. The objective of the course is to train divers how to plan and conduct a standard staged decompression dive. The most common equipment requirements, gear set ups, decompression techniques and decompression mixtures (including oxygen and nitrox) are presented. Max depth of dives 45m.
Minimum certification : Open Water + 25 logged dives
Course duration : 4 days including 4 dives (2 day trips)
Course Price : Please contact us for latest prices

Combined Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures
These courses highly compliment each other, allowing the benefit of utilising enriched air nitrox during the staged decompression stops made during the course dives.
Minimum certification : Nitrox Diver + 25 logged dives
Course duration : 5 days including 6 dives
Course Price : Please contact us for latest prices
Extended Range Diver
This course provides the training and experience required to competently utilise air for dives down to 55m/180feet that require staged decompression, utilising nitrox mixtures and oxygen during decompression. The main areas covered are software-accelerated deco, stress management and autonomy.
Minimum certification : Advanced Nitrox / Decompression Procedures + 100 logged dives (25 deeper than 30m)
Course Duration : 5 days including 6 dives
Course Price : Please contact us for latest prices
Entry Level Trimix Diver
This course provides the training required to competently and safely utilise breathing gases containing helium for dives that require staged decompression, utilising nitrox and/or oxygen mixtures during decompression to a maximum depth of 60m/200feet. Includes a dive on the Petaling Wreck at 60m.
Minimum certification : Advanced Nitrox / Deco Procedures + 100 logged dives
Course Duration : 5 days including 4 dives
Course Price : Please contact us for latest prices
Advanced Level Trimix
This course provides the training required to competently and safely utilise breathing gases containing helium for dives that require staged decompression, utilising nitrox and/or oxygen mixtures during decompression to a maximum depth of 100m/330feet. Includes a dive on the HMS Vestal Wreck (see below).
Minimum certification : Extended Range or Entry Level Trimix
+ 100 logged dives (25 deeper than 30m)
Course duration : 5 days including 4 dives

HMS Vestal Wreck
HMS Vestal is a British minesweeper, which sank on 26th July 1945 during battle with the Japanese. It was the victim of a kamikaze attack, the only boat to be sunk in the Indian ocean by such means, and the last British naval loss of the war. The wreck was located off the coast of Phuket in 2002. Lying at a depth of 70m, it is only possible with Trimix. Contact us for details of trips for Trimix certified divers.

Semi Closed Rebreather Diver
This is the entry level certification course for recreational divers wishing to utilise a nitrox semi closed-circuit rebreather. Benefits, hazards and proper procedures for safe use are all comprehensively taught.
Minimum certification : Basic Nitrox Diver
Course duration : 3 days including 4 dives on the Drager Dolphin or Ray
Course Price : Please contact us for latest prices
Nitrox Gas Blender
The objective of this course is to train candidates in the proper techniques, equipment requirements and hazards involved in blending nitrox gas for recreational scuba. Certification allows for mixing Nitrox up to 40% oxygen.
Minimum certification : None
Course duration : 1 - 2 days
