Friday July 28th
Nice and bright day today. Last night we had some rain but this morning the wind just blew the dark clouds away and the sun came out to shine on us.
Monday July 24th
Just another day in paradise. Today we are pampered with a lot of sunshine and a nice breeze from the ocean. Plenty of surfers out there riding the waves. Sometimes one feels it wouldn't be too bad being a bit younger again. O well.
Thursday July 20th
Mixed weather bag at the moment. Light rain showers ever now and then. But still very warm temperatures, so getting into a sweat is no problem and the rain cools it down afterwards.
Sunday July 16th
Glorious weather today with lots of sunshine and calmer seas. Everybody is enjoying the Island and people are going diving on daytrips everyday. We still need a lot of pictures for our Reef Guide. Come on guys, send us some.
Friday July 14th
Not much to write home about at the moment. Pretty dark clouds hang in the skies most of the time and we get our fair share of rain as well. But we don't complain, because the Island and the reservoirs need the water and soon the sun will shine on us again.
Tuesday July 11th
I got a number one haircut yesterday and headbutted a few people on the street. Just like "Zizou". The weather is probably as dark as his mindset towards that Italian fellow at the moment. Nice waves on the beaches. A stiff breeze from the ocean keeps things cool and the occasional shower keeps the island wet.
Friday July 7th
What can I say, Germany is out of the World cup and it is France against Italy for the title. "Zizou" from zero to hero. I would have loved to see Portugal win it for the first time. Apart from that not much is happening here in Phuket at the moment. Last night we had some rain but this morning the sun was shining again.
Tuesday July 4th
More sunshine and even calmer seas. Very nice weather at the moment and very few people around, cheaper prices in hotels and restaurants. Tonight it is Germany against Italy in the World cup. And tomorrow it will be France versus Portugal.
Saturday July 1st
Hello July. The new month starts off rather nicely with a lot of sun and calm seas. It's unbelievable how fast half a year can go by. We can see the next high season looming at the horizon already.
