Phuket Weather - June 2004
We just started our weather pages in June 2004. Over time we hope to build a database based on observations from our office in Karon Beach and my (Jamie's) house in Kathu (center of Phuket Island).
Wednesday June 30th
Quite sunny again, showers in the afternoon and very windy.
Tuesday June 29th
Sunny today. Wind still blowing hard with big waves on the beach. Rained overnight for 30 minutes.
Monday June 28th
Weekend was mostly fine. Some rain on Saturday and seas not at all calm. Today is sunny again.
Friday June 25th
The bones were right. But rain only lasted half an hour this morning. Still a bit windy, but sea pretty calm.
Thursday June 24th
A bit of rain and wind the last 2 days. But rain only for a few minutes. Looks like tomorrow may be a bit wet (I can feel it in my bones).
Tuesday June 22nd
Sunny and warm in Phuket. Last few days the same. Garden is dry. Jamie has been in Chumphon on the Gulf coast (Chumphon is where you get a ferry to Koh Tao). Weather was sunny for 2 days, rainy for 2 days.
Wednesday June 16th
Just like yesterday, no rain, no sun. Doesn't look like rain.
Tuesday June 15th
No rain, nice and warm but cloudier than yesterday.
Monday June 14th
Today was dry, mostly cloudy. Sunny for a few hours in the morning.
The last weeks have been very changeable. There were some very wet days from Sunday - Tuesday, followed by a few very sunny days. Sunday 13th was wet again. Not too much wind though and sea conditions were good.
