Wednesday June 28th
Sorry for not having written anything about the weather in a while but we were cut off from the rest of the world here in Cyber - Phuket for a few days. Never mind, you didn't miss much. The weather is changing all the time and people are going diving everyday.
Thursday June 22nd
The sun is fighting her way through the clouds. It was about time after the last few windy and very rainy days. As you can see on the picture below, the red container for the charming fire works has gotten a new coat of paint. Good luck for everyone.
Monday June 19th
Welcome back. The weekends are always too short, aren't they. The surfers are happy again, because today there are nice breakers rolling in on the beaches. Sun and rain are just swapping the hours of the day
Friday June 16th
Gloriuos weather. After the rain the air is clear and fresh. The waves on the beaches are smaller again and the surfers are complaining. Not much else to write about. See you again on Monday.
Wednesday June 14th
Wow, today it's raining cats and dogs. I don't even bother taking out the camera. The water reservoirs are going to get a splash and dash. It still amazes me how quick the clouds are moving in from the sea sometimes. One second they are at the horizon, the next second they are right where you are standing on land.
Sunday June 11th
The weather is very changeable at the moment. The surfers are happy now with the bigger waves at the shore. They are coming out by the dozens. Everybody is getting their boat ready in the shipyards but we still have enough boats floating to go to all the beautiful reefs at our daytrip dive sites.
Thursday June 8th
A bit dark-ish today, but also plenty of sunshine in between. That's probably why Gilbert took off on a holiday. Apart from that, MV GRETA came out of the shipyard yesterday and looks nicer than ever, with aircon in the salon now as well. Overnight diving trip to Phi Phi on Fridays - Saturdays, ....nice.
Monday June 5th
Last night we could hear the rumble of thunder in the far distance and it rained a little overnight. This morning the dark clouds still lingered at the horizon but mostly stayed out at sea. The ocean is very calm at the moment....maybe too calm.
Friday June 2nd
Hello, month of June. Welcome low season. Still blue-ish skies and warm temperatures. Not much wind at the moment and little rain too. In fact, the last few days have been exceptionally glorious. Calm seas, fair sailing and nice diving. |
