Last Update: Sunday March 27th
Getting hot now! Last few days have been real toasty, looks like rain will come sometimes but does not. A bit of thunder last night and a few drops of rain. Wind is quite strong making today feel a bit cooler. Customers said here is cool compared to Chiang Mai, where temperatures are up to 40 degrees Celsius.
Tuesday March 22nd
A bit more cloud the last couple of days, but still very hot. Looked like rain yesterday, but the dark clouds slid away without a drip here in Karon. Another thunderstorm would be nice to cool the air.
Friday March 18th
Again, very little change over the last 2 weeks. The one day of rain on the 5th was followed by a cooler cloudier day on the 6th, but no more rain. After this, back to hot and dry. Some days are windier than others. One day last week, more clouds formed and about 2 drops of rain fell. Nights are rather balmy this week, though the skies are clear.
Saturday March 5th
After another rainless week, hot weather..it finally rained today for about 30 minutes with a quick thunderstorm. Black clouds seemed to come from nowhere and rain cleansed the land and the trees. Great!

Wednesday February 23rd
Still dry and hot. Wind has blown quite strong in the mornings this week, but is getting calmer. This is perfect weather for diving or lazing on the beach.
Thursday February 17th
Now it's getting hot! Could have boiled eggs in the car today. No sight of rain, but I went up to Bang Wat Dam, where you find the biggest reservoir in Phuket, and it seemed pretty full.
Friday February 11th
A few nights ago, there were about 6 drops of light rain. Otherwise, weather continues clear and hot. Wind has dropped, seas are calm. Oh! To be out diving!
Friday February 4th
Still not a drop of rain. A quick thunderstorm would be nice actually. Every day is clear, hot and sunny. We were out beach diving today and can see that the people are starting to come back to enjoy our corner of paradise.
