Phuket Weather - March / April 2006

Sunday April 30th

Well well well...April is all but gone. The sun still refuses to stop shining. There is a nice breeze coming in from the west and we have a few nice breakers on the beach. Just a couple of days ago we had 3 Whalesharks at Hin Daeng and 2 Mantarays and 1 Whaleshark at Hin Muang.

Wednesday April 26th

The wind has turned to coming from the west today and the surfers are happy. We have a few nice waves rolling in on the beaches. The sun is shining and the cool breeze from the sea makes it really pleasant.

Saturday April 22nd

Today it is a little bit cloudy and the Island gets some needed rain. No wind and calm sea guarantee still good diving with lots of Manta Rays at the Similan Islands.

Monday April 17th

The sun is shining from a blue sky, only a few clouds to be seen. The sea is calm and everybody is down at the beach sunbathing and swimming. If they are not diving, that is.

Friday April 14th

Songkran was fantastic fun again this year. The weather was just perfect for the day. Blue skies and sunshine. Some lightning, thunder and light rain in the evenings or overnight, but today the air is clear and it is a beautyful day.

Monday April 3rd

More clouds and rain all over Thailand but here at the south west coast of Phuket we only get the outskirts of the bypassing weatherfronts. Most of the day is sunny and warm. Everybody is having a lot of fun at the beach.

Thursday March 30th

Today it's a bit overcast but nice and warm. The wind has changed to the east and the sea is calm and inviting. Not much longer and we have Songkran again.

Sunday March 26th

Blue skies today and a nice refreshing breeze from the west. Calm seas and small breakers at the shore. Ideal conditions for diving, swimming or sunbathing.
