There goes the month of May and the high season with it. Things have calmed down now considerably, more time now for the administrative things. The weather is still holding up nicely and today the sea is as flat as a duck pond. Don't forget to book your next liveaboard trip soon, high season is just around the corner.
Sunday May 28th
Beautiful day with a lot of sunshine and calm seas. After the rain lately the air is clean and fresh and Phi Phi looks so close, that one would think you could go there in minutes.

Friday May 26th
Pretty dark day today. Big black clouds all over the sky. It looks like we are going to get some more rain. The sun is trying hard to get through, but to no avail. Well, there is always another day in paradise.

Tuesday May 23rd
It seems the low season is approaching now with bigger waves on the beaches. The surfers are very happy. Daytrips to Racha Yai and to Sharkpoint are going out daily and the divers encounter less people underwater but more fish again. The island is getting well deserved rain from short showers ever now and then.
Friday May 12th
Today the weather can't really make it's mind about about how to be. Sun, rain, sun, rain, sun.....but the sea looks like a mirror. The last boats are going out for the final Similan trips this high season and since there are less people out there now, they might even get to see something special.

Monday May 8th
Like I said before. Sure enough the sun is back to shine on us. A few clouds in the sky, but all in all very nice weather and very clear air. You can see for miles. The road widening process between Kata and Chalong is almost finished now and it is much better with the traffic.

Friday May 5th
I shouldn't have said anything. The day started off nice enough with lots of sun. But then it started raining about midday and it kept drizzling into the afternoon. Never mind, usually the next morning brings the sunshine back again.

Tuesday May 2nd
It looks like this year high season wants to stay a little longer. We have fantastic weather with almost no wind or clouds and very calm seas. Still perfect conditions to go to the Similan Islands and Hin Daeng and Hin Muang. Let it stay like that.
