Phuket Weather - September 2006

Wednesday September 27th

Lack of reports this week due to holidays. The last couple of days have been really sunny, very nice days and great diving weather, but earlier in the week (Monday and Tuesday) there was some rain, apparently due to Phuket being in the outer edge of a low pressure system.

Tuesday September 19th

Just gorgeous today. The sky is a steely blue and the sea is emerald. We have been out on the Reef clean up and it was a great success. If you want to have a look at the report and the video from the local TV - station please click on this link :

Friday September 15th

The last couple of days have been very mixed indeed. More rain than shine. But today it's getting brighter again and tomorrow we from Sunrise Divers are off for a reef clean up trip on Dive Asia's boot to Koh Khai Nok in Phang Nga bay. We'll have a report and pictures later.

Monday September 11th

The surf competition is over and it was one of the best in recent years. Very nice waves and sunshine the whole weekend. The diving is faboulus as well at the moment. High season is just around the corner, so don't wait too long with your reservations.

Thursday September 7th

More of the same the last few days. Lots of sunshine. The surf competition is under way and the waves are quite alright. Smiling faces everywhere. A nice breeze from the ocean cools things down.

Monday September 4th

Glorious weather at the moment. Emerald seas and very blue skies indeed. A few white puffy clouds but that's all. The nice breeze is going to blow them away.

Friday September 1st

Beautiful day today. The sun is smiling again. It was about time after the last rather darkish days. The sea is pretty calm today as well which usually tells us that the surf contest is coming up. I hope this year they have some nice waves.
