Similans Diving - Similan Islands Day Trips
The Similan Islands National Park has now become established as one of the finest dive locations in Asia, with liveaboard diving being especially popular. In the last few years, several dive boats have begun to offer Similans day trips departing from Phuket. Day trips are ideal for those who lack the time or money for a liveaboard cruise but still wish to experience the great diving on offer at the Similan Islands.
Liveaboards remain the best way to dive the Similan Islands, and we urge you to find the time for at least an overnight trip! A day trip just gives you a taste and it's a long way for just 2 dives - if you have the time then try a liveaboard! Details of the day trip options are below. We strongly recommend making bookings in advance for any Similans dive trip, especially in peak season.

Similans Diving - Liveaboards
If you have just a little more time, we highly recommend spending longer than a few hours in the Similans. Liveaboards are now available for just 2 or 3 days in the Similans, as well as the usual 4 day trips to Similan and Surin. You can transfer with the same speedboat and make an overnight stay or longer, diving Similan on the South Siam 3 liveaboard. We hope to see you soon!

Siam Adventure Divers - Speedboat Daytrips to Similans
Siam Adventure Divers will take you on a speedboat to their day boat in the Similan Islands every day via Thap Lamu. On Mondays, Thurdays and Saturdays there are two dives, while on other weekdays three dives are scheduled. On any three-dive day you may also choose to do only two dives. Pick-ups from Phuket are available starting at 6.00 am. Pick up at 8am in Khao Lak.
There is also an option to do a daytrip to the islands by speedboat only. In this case you will not go to the day boat but rather dive from the speedboat itself.
Price - 4,800 Baht (2 dives) and 5,300 Baht (3 dives*)

"South Siam" - Speedboat transfer via Khao Lak
The South Siam day trip operates every day in the high season. For customers in Phuket, there is a free transfer by minibus (pick up 6 - 6:30am) to Thap Lamu, close to Khao Lak. The speedboat takes you to the Similans in just 1 hour 20 minutes where you board the dive boat for your 2 dives.

The South Siam day trip is also suitable for snorkelers. While the divers use the dive boat South Siam 3 for their diving, you can snorkel from the speedboat on the shallow reefs. You all meet again for lunch before the second dive/snorkel. Note that Sunday and Wednesday trips are to Koh Bon, just north of the Similans.
