The South Siam day trip operates every day in the high season. For customers in Phuket, there is a free transfer by minibus (pick up 6 - 6:30am) to Thap Lamu, close to Khao Lak. The speedboat takes you to the Similans in just 1 hour 20 minutes where you board the dive boat for your 2 dives.
The South Siam day trip is also suitable for snorkelers. While the divers use the liveaboard dive boat South Siam 3 for their diving, you can snorkel from the speedboat on the shallow reefs. You all meet again for lunch before the second dive/snorkel. Note that Sunday and Wednesday trips are to Koh Bon, just north of the Similans - a good place to find Manta Rays!
