The Mandarin Queen 8 “Jovanita” is a brand-new, completely refurbished liveaboard dive vessel, launching in January 2027. This state-of-the-art Similan dive safari offers the highest levels of comfort and standards. She is running during our scuba diving season, trips to the Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, and Richelieu Rock. The spacious and luxurious vessel provides ample room to relax. The main deck features a large, air-conditioned lounge and dining area. A covered outdoor dining area is located on the upper deck. The Mandarin Queen 8 has 13 cabins accommodating a maximum of 26 divers. The main deck includes two master double cabins and eleven deluxe twin cabins. Each cabin is equipped with a television, air conditioning, and an en-suite bathroom. A Jacuzzi is located on the upper deck.
The Mandarin Queen 8 / Jovanita is a brand-new, refurbished steel liveaboard dive safari vessel. She sets sail in January 2027 for her voyage to the Similan and Surin Islands. This spacious ship accommodates a maximum of 26 divers in 13 comfortable cabins. The main deck features two master double cabins and eleven deluxe twin cabins. All cabins have en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning.
On board, you’ll find plenty of space to relax, a large, air-conditioned lounge and dining area, and a spacious sun deck.
Three meals are served daily. The menu offers a daily changing selection of Thai dishes, fresh seafood, and international specialties. The chef ensures you are well catered for, preparing meals with care according to your preferences. Snacks, tea, and coffee are available throughout the day. Soft drinks and beer are available for purchase.
The Mandarin Queen 8 is among the best liveaboard dive safari vessels in the region. Early booking is recommended to secure your spot.
Diving Equipment
Rental equipment is provided by Sunrise Divers for our divers on board the Mandarin Queen liveaboard. Rental price is 500 Baht per day for a set (BCD/regulator/fins/mask/wetsuit), 250 Baht/day for a dive computer and only 150 Baht/day for dive insurance. We have a large equipment room at our dive center with 30 sets of Aqualung BCDs and regulators and a large selection of long and short wetsuits, open heel and full foot fins.
If you need to rent equipment we suggest you meet at our dive center on departure day, so you can try all equipment before departure. If not possible to meet at our shop, no problem, we will pack extra equipment in different sizes.
Torches for night dives 200 Baht per day. 15 liter tanks available 300 Baht per day.
Nitrox Tanks
Nitrox is available on board FREE for Nitrox certified divers (12 liter tanks) – for 15 liter Nitrox 300 Baht per day.
Dive Courses
PADI Advanced Open Water course is 8,500 Baht. PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) course is 8,500 Baht.
Note the boat has a strict rule – if you are only Open Water Diver certified you must do the Advanced Open Water Diver course or dive with a private guide. A private guide is 8,000 Baht for the 4 night trip. Courses and/or private guide are payable on board.
Drinks
Drinking water, coffee, tea are included. Sodas are 30 Baht. Local beers are 60 Baht.
