MV Raga Liveaboard Information
The MV Gentle Giant offers a unique voyage that crosses the northern and southern Andaman Seas in a single trip. This special 7-day (6-night) voyage operates only six times a year between November and April.
The MV Gentle Giant is a 24-meter-long and 6-meter-wide wooden dive safari vessel that accommodates 20 divers in fully air-conditioned double cabins. There are three cabin categories: one Master Cabin, one Deluxe Cabin, and eight Standard Cabins. All cabins have an en-suite bathroom with a shower and toilet. If you prefer to stay outside your cabin, you can enjoy the comfortable, fully air-conditioned lounge with hundreds of movies on a 55-inch television.
On board, you’ll always find plenty of space to enjoy your leisure time. The spacious sun deck is ideal for those who want to soak up the sun and the sea breeze of the Andaman Sea.
Diving Equipment
Rental equipment is provided by Gentle Giant liveaboard on board. Rental price is 700 Baht per day for a set (BCD/regulator/fins/mask/wetsuit), 300 Baht/day for a dive computer and only 150 Baht/day for dive insurance.
Torches for night dives 100 Baht per dive. 15 liter tanks available 300 Baht per day.
Nitrox Tanks
Nitrox is available on board for Nitrox certified divers – 12 liter tank for 250 Baht and 15 liter tank for 300 Baht per fill.
Dive Courses
PADI Advanced Open Water course is 10,000 Baht. PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) course is 7,000 Baht (courses are payable on board in cash).
Drinks
Drinking water, soft drinks, coffee, tea are included. Local beers are 70 Baht.
