Day Trip Diving Similan Islands
The Similan Islands National Park is well established and is one of the best dive locations in Asia. Day trips are good for those who lack the time or money to do a liveaboard cruise but still want the experience of great diving at the Similans. Similan Islands daytrips are available from November until April. The Sundancer day trip catamaran departs from Khao Lak to the Similan Islands. Transfers are included from Khao Lak area only.
Khao Lak – Similan Day Trip Diving
With the Sundancer speed catamaran you arrive at the Similan Islands in less than 2 hours. You are cruising fast and much more comfortable than on other speedboats. The Similan Islands are suitable for beginner divers and for snorkeling. The dive sites of Koh Bon and Koh Tachai are more suitable for advanced divers. At Koh Bon & Koh Tachai is a good chance to spot Manta Rays. Available are day trips with 2 or 3 dives. In the moment we try to run trips Fridays and Saturdays. Please contact us for confirmed tours.

Similan Day Trips – Speed Catamaran Transfer via Khao Lak
Diving and snorkeling cruises with the MC Sundancer to the beautiful Similan Islands, 30 nm off the coast of Khao Lak. The MC Sundancer is a state-of-the-art catamaran, unique in the Andaman Sea. Service on board include a fresh towel, your personal bottle of drinking water with free refill and soft drinks. Breakfast and lunch are included and is served on board. Similan or Koh Bon daytrips are available during Thailand’s main season from November to April.

Non-Diver price for 2 dive trip: 3,100 Baht (suitable Mondays and Fridays)
Prices include breakfast, lunch, non alcoholic drinks and transfers from Khao Lak.
Equipment rental extra 900 Baht for BCD/regulator/fins/mask/wetsuit.
National Park Fee 700 Baht/diver and 500 Baht/non-diver to pay cash on board.
Inexperienced Open Water or Junior Divers can dive with a private guide.
Divers who have not dived for a long time may need to dive with a private divemaster too. Private guide: 2,000 Baht.
Note that for Similan day trips you will dive with a dive guide who works directly for the boat operator.

The MC Sundancer has two 450 hp Yanmar turbo charged engines. On board is telephone, GPS, radar, and depth sounder. A catamaran guarantees better stability in the water than smaller speed boats. The boat has a large dive deck and amazingly comfortable salon. The on-board kitchen brings the delights of beach life on board with us, serving fresh breakfast and lunch every day. A First Aid kit and oxygen unit are of course on board too. This is making the Sundancer the perfect dive vessel for all scuba divers and snorkelers. Please note: Transfer from Phuket is available for 2,400 Baht/car one way (payable in cash to the driver). If you are staying in Phuket and like to organize your own transport, you need to be at 8:40am at the Thap Lamu Pier for the 2 dive trip!
